I recently found out that I'm pregnant. Can I continue exercising safely during my pregnancy?

There's no doubt about it - exercising during pregnancy can make you feel great and can help you develop the stamina needed for giving birth. Yoga, swimming, and walking are great choices, but you should avoid high-impact exercises that involve jumping, bouncing, lifting, or any jarring movements. Before you begin any exercise regimen during your pregnancy, talk to your doctor. He or she can also be helpful in making modifications to your exercise routine as your pregnancy progresses.
